May the SyFy be with you!

Have you ever sat down and wondered where the world’s imagination disappeared to?  Or perhaps why all the movies now and days have a plot that can be deciphered a little too easily?  Well that might be because instead of looking to the future, one might want to look into the past, say for instance, to one of the most exhilarating and influential trilogies in the history of motion pictures. Star Wars, a sci-fi masterpiece and arguably one of the most inventive and entertaining films ever made, if given the chance, will certainly capture the hearts and minds of the young and old alike, throughout the world.

 

Plot:

Remember what I said about plots that are often easy to guess the ending?  Well in Star Wars, that is something you will never have to worry about. As though around every corner is something jaw dropping, a twist you have to declare, “I didn’t see that one coming”.  From romance, to mystery, to intrigue, Star Wars won’t let you down when it comes to an on the edge of your seat kind of story.

 

Ridiculous planets and its people:

Definitely answering the question, “Are we alone in the universe?”, the inhabitants of multiple planets are actually often seen coercing with one another throughout the series. Seems as though humans were the last to know about the intergalactic crowd above us. Planets vary from waste lands of nothing but dirt and sand, to entire societies built under an ocean. Sometimes, a planet is not a planet at all, but a ship, a spaceship, built to occupy the population of a growing nation.

Now, the creatures depicted in this fantastic film could only be something dreamed up within the mind of a mad man. Gigantic, slimy slugs with a vendetta; monstrous, fury bears that only want to help; hideous, evil doers that look as though they modeled their appearance after a ghoulish Halloween character, good guys with mind tricks, and an innocent, quaint aquatic creature that is always getting himself into trouble. Now add a dash of robots and intergalactic mercenaries to the mix, and you must admit that Star Wars has a radical band of characters.

Special Effects:

The special effects in this trilogy, absolutely amazing! You truly feel as though you had left earth and traveled to other planets. The stars themselves mimic our night sky, and if you didn’t know any better, you would believe the starships and technologies to be a looking glass into the future of our galaxy and all that exists within. You will truly be blown away with the riveting special features taken to make this movie so realistic you feel as though you may jump right in and become a part of the fantasy yourself.

Overall, what could you possibly be missing more in your life then an amazing endeavor involving swords made of light, spaceships that are capable of traveling 100 times the speed of light, and an army made up entirely of clones? The battles between good and evil become all the more tangible as the series movies on, progressing into a final death match with which nothing else can be compared. Are you willing to let it pass you by?
